A Letter from Kim Weeks
I am writing today to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the love and support that you have shown both my family and the staff this past year. My late husband loved being a dentist. He excelled at connecting with people and building relationships. Please know that he really did care about each and every one of you. Whenever we were out in the community, he greeted you as a friend, not merely a patient.
Throughout Tim’s cancer battle, I was privileged to see the overwhelming outpouring of love for him. Patients wrote notes, joined our Caring bridge, brought us meals and prayed for a miracle. Tim appreciated each and every act of kindness that was shown to us. Since his passing, I’ve heard stories of the many ways he impacted your lives. It truly warms my heart to know that others could see how special he really was.
Tim had a loyal and loving staff too. The way that Michelle, Dr. So and the rest of the team pulled together to run the office has been a blessing to me and my children. I am thankful that so many of you have stayed with us during this time of transition over the last 15 months.
I am pleased to let you know that the practice will have a new owner and dentist effective Jan. 31st, 2018. Dr. Holly Austgen will assume this role and I couldn’t be more pleased. Tim tried to prepare for a transition while he was still able and had met with Dr. Austgen last spring. She received his seal of approval, with him telling me that should something happen to him, I should call Holly.
I will allow Dr. Austgen to introduce herself to you. But I think you will find that she is well deserving of carrying on the legacy of care and compassion that Tim worked so hard to create.
With sincere thanks,
Kim Weeks and children
